Jennifer Parke Photography ~ 2010 That's A Wrap!

This has been an amazing year I have learned so much and I have gained some *AMAZING* new clients!

2010 started like this -

Then this sweet little man came into our lives on January 27 2010 at 1:27pm and I fell more in love than I ever thought possible - When my son was born my photography took a back seat in my life and a front seat at the same time. My business came to a screeching halt but at the same time I have had my camera with me almost every second of every day since that little guy was born! And I have had more impromptu photo sessions than I ever thought possible. He is super patient and now he even tries to take the camera and snap some shots of his own! We have also been training Daddy how to use the camera because I have also learned the importance of being in front of the camera and not just behind it.

I have learned that knowing what the rules are is important but that sometimes it's ok to break them. I've also learned that as a mom and a personal you can only do so much and that you just have to do the best that you can. I might not be "Super Mom" and maybe I can't do it all but I love being a mom and I think I do a great job. I could not be the mom or the photographer that I am without the support of my friends and family.

Full Preview - Riley

A few days ago I posted a mini preview of this adorable little girl. While once again I have met a little girl who didn't enjoy her tutu - I did manage to find some other things that she liked and we narrowly escaped a snake while checking out the beautiful gardens at her great grandparents home. These gardens are part of a garden tour in Bucks County and they were a fabulous. Katie and Dan thank you so much for letting me photograph your beautiful family!

Back At It

Well its official - I have dusted off my calendar because JPP maternity leave is officially over and we are back at it! We are now booking sessions for April and beyond! Thank you for your patience while we bonded with our new baby!

New location

One of the luxuries of my "day" job is that I spend a lot of time driving. I consider this to be a luxury because I am always able to explore new places and look for new places to shoot. I recently found a wonderful new location - and I can't wait until spring because it is just gorgeous now in the fall!

Family Sneak Peak

I have been friends with this mama since the summer before 5th grade. I am so excited for her and her hubby - they are pregnant with their second baby! Their son Owen is such a trip - I think he thought this session was about him and not about the family - but he is super cute so I kept shooting!

Congrats Jess, Kit and Owen I can't wait to meet your baby girl!
