Lately I have been thinking a lot about my blog and what this blog should and shouldn't represent. While the main purpose of the blog is for clients to get sneak peaks of their recent sessions it is also for future clients to get to know me...not just me the photographer but me the person. I know that I have posted some personal things on this blog but I am going to start posting a little more.

So with that being said there are some things that everyone should know that my husband and I are expecting our first baby in January!

with that being said my tentative "maternity" leave will be from January 1st through March 1st....but if you need a maternity session or a newborn session please don't hesitate to call because those sessions just can't wait!

Sorry I have been missing in action! We are having some internet issues that we hope to have resolved very soon!

New location

One of the luxuries of my "day" job is that I spend a lot of time driving. I consider this to be a luxury because I am always able to explore new places and look for new places to shoot. I recently found a wonderful new location - and I can't wait until spring because it is just gorgeous now in the fall!

Family Sneak Peak

I have been friends with this mama since the summer before 5th grade. I am so excited for her and her hubby - they are pregnant with their second baby! Their son Owen is such a trip - I think he thought this session was about him and not about the family - but he is super cute so I kept shooting!

The Other Side Of The Camera

I recently had the opportunity to be on the other side of the camera- I much prefer to be behind the camera snapping away but sometimes there are events in our lives that we need to document! As part of a recent session that my husband, Rick and I had with Jim from Sleepy Hollow Photography I was able to see just how my clients feel!

I must say that I truly appreciate each of my clients and how open they are with the camera! They have all been rockstars!

Game 2 Part 2

Tonight was a beautiful night for a football game...well at least for half of one! My nephew, Marquez is #40 and he is a football rockstar!

Last Saturday we sat on the edge of our seats all day waiting to see if it would rain and the game would be cancelled...but the weather hung in there....

Well I should say it hung in there for the first half....

And then this....

so Part II is starting at 6:30pm today!

Football Season Begins!

This morning I braved the heat and went to my nephew, Marquez's first scrimmage. Marquez played Quarterback today and he did fabulous!
